About the role As State Regulation and Enforcement Coordinator in the Biosecurity Operations Branch (BOB), you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate, efficient, high quality, and timely compliance outcomes across Biosecurity Tasmania operations and legislation administered by Biosecurity Tasmania. Develop, maintain, and review compliance policies, procedures, and instructional material. Undertake and deliver compliance activities including investigation, preparation and review of court files, and prosecution of cases in court in collaboration with subject matter experts and field staff. Provide advice on the application of policy to systems and processes in meeting specified program objectives. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a range of forums and at a range of levels. Knowledge and experience in statutory compliance and legal procedures and the operational framework.
