The College was founded in 1979 and has grown to a dynamic and vibrant education centre located in Adelaide and Online with approximately 900 students. The Millswood campus is only five minutes south of the city, in a beautiful setting with plenty of free parking and access via public transport.
About the Role Tabor is recruiting for a 0.6FTE Stakeholder Engagement Officer (SEO)
The Stakeholder Engagement Officer plays a crucial role in building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, promoting Tabor's offerings, and providing administration support for these activities. The SEO is instrumental in the coordination and implementation of Tabor's Stakeholder Engagement initiatives, including the Schools' Engagement and Professional Development Programs, to achieve Tabor College's broader goals of growth and community impact.
Stakeholders include, but are not limited to, potential and existing students, college alumni, external primary and secondary schools and internal members of our staff. Our Stakeholders are also community members already working in the fields of Counselling, Teaching or Ministry that may wish to join us for Professional Development events or further study.
The role will be situated at the Millswood campus and will work closely with the various Faculties and Tabor departments. The successful applicant will need to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, to promote Tabor's services, gather market insights, and strengthen partnerships. They will collaborate with the Manager of Partnerships and Projects to plan and execute targeted communications, including personalised outreach and electronic direct mail campaigns. They will liaise with the graphic design team to produce relevant promotional materials and to manage the promotion of Stakeholder offerings.
This role will also provide market research to the Chief Marketing Officer on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that emerge from interactions with stakeholders and from marketing scanning and research.
Part of this role will be the scheduling and coordination of our Student Ambassador team, representing the college at school expos and delivering presentations to senior high school students regarding study at Tabor. Confidence and charisma in presenting information to external stakeholders is a key part of this role.
