.3 FTE, (Flexible hours, averaged over the year to approx. 12 hours per week) Commencing as soon as possible St Mary's College is seeking a skilled and inspiring Rowing Coordinator to lead, mentor, and guide our talented team of rowers.
St Mary's College is a K-12 Catholic school for Girls. We are committed to fostering a culture of teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. Our rowing program has a rich history of success and in recent years has produced several state and national representatives.
About the position The Rowing Coordinator is responsible for the organisation and facilitation of the St Mary's College rowing program. The role entails coordinating student rowers and rowing related activities as well as the administration of all aspects of the rowing program in order to maximise the contribution of the sport of rowing to the quality and holistic Catholic educational experience provided by St Mary's College
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders. Ability to create a positive culture within the sport of rowing which reflects the values of the College. Demonstrated ability to motivate students of differing levels of ability across various age groups. Proven experience in managing and developing a team of coaches. Experience in proactively managing workplace health and safety to ensure safety of students, coaches, teachers, parents and other stakeholders.
