Sport Development Officer

Volleyball Northern Territory (VNT) is the peak body responsible for the growth, development, and promotion of volleyball in the Northern Territory. We are seeking a motivated Sport Development Officer to work with our Board to deliver the sport's goals in participation, performance and operations.

Key Responsibilities
:


Collaborate with the Volleyball NT Board to achieve operational outcomes.

Support Clubs and Associations with development goals, with a strong focus on school engagement and programs.

Develop and implement participation and high-performance plans.

Represent Volleyball NT and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Perform General Secretariat duties, including administrative support for the Volleyball NT Board.


Skills & Experience
:


Experience in a similar role or industry (desirable but not essential).

Volleyball coaching and referee skills (desirable but not essential).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Highly organised, deadline-oriented, and self-motivated.

Increase member participation in events across local, territory, and national levels.

Grow club and association memberships.

Enhance community presence via school, remote, and other programs.

Complete administrative tasks promptly.

Maintain Volleyball NT assets in clean and working condition.
