We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Networks Drafter to join our Networks Planning and Engineering team in Kidman Park office for 12 months on a Full Time basis.
Reporting to the Team Lead Design Drafting, you will be supporting NGS team, Engineers and Estimators by developing 2D drawings and documentation from concept through to construction, installation, and as-built stages, enabling effective maintenance and lifecycle management of APA assets.
Key Responsibilities Lead specific projects, acting as the primary liaison between internal customers and drafting team for timely service delivery.Collaborate closely with construction teams for necessary modifications and ensure compliance with design standards.Develop stakeholder understanding and provide guidance on implementing standards, procedures, and system upgrades.Review and create 2D drawings for new estates, purge plans and Mains replacements and make changes as required.Your background Proven drafting experience, ideally in utilities and services, networks design, with a relevant engineering or trade qualification.Proficient in AutoCAD and strong computer literacy, especially MS applications.Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices in design and drafting, with ability to meet tight deadlines.Strong communication skills and flexibility to work on varied projects, both independently and in team settings.Committed to service and operational excellence, with a proactive approach to supporting and guiding team development.Working at APA
