About the OPPORTUNITY We have two exciting opportunities for Software Engineer's to join our project based at Ed Parks, reporting to the Software Technical Lead. Key responsibilities include: * Working across all aspects of our HFS Export programs. * Undertaking all assigned Software Engineering activities, including related documentation, in accordance with identified project directives and standards, and commensurate with the lifecycle stage of the project. * Proactively providing status update information to relevant stakeholders, such as supervisors and/or project managers. About YOU * 2-3 years of Software Engineering experience * Understanding of the Software Development lifecycle * Working knowledge of C/C++ Programing language (preferably on Linux) * Experience in object orientated programming and development experience with the Qt framework * Familiarity with the Atlassian suite of tools and Configuration and Change Management principles and tools, such as Git * Desirable but not essential: Familiarity with Data Distribution Service and agile development framework(s) * Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain * Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
