The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team and assist with design and implementation of our social media strategy.
Reporting to our Social Media Manager, your new role will see you collaborating with all areas of the organisation to execute all social activity and drive the optimisation of our Heart Foundation owned social channels.
Your key accountabilities will see you –
Providing advice to all areas of the organisation on social approach to content, targeting and tracking, and taking ownership of social campaign performance.
Ensuring the Heart Foundation brand is accurately represented throughout all social asset
Providing social marketing support to the Campaign Team and help develop effective content strategies to achieve campaign targets
Working with our Marketing Insights team to track and monitor all social channels, understand the social position in the customer lifecycle and optimise activity to convert long-term customers
Analysing social media risk and engaging in community management to monitor material and comments that might pose a risk to the reputation of the Heart Foundation or its people
Using your creative flair to generate and produce content for the Heart Foundation’s social media channels
About you
You will be a driven, organised and innovative professional with tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in marketing and communications, or a related experience. You will have relevant experience in a social media, content or digital role, with the following key skills and knowledge:
Experience developing, executing and evaluating social campaigns.
Content development experience
Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders of varying seniority and expertise
Proficiency in using social media advertising self-serve tools
A strong understanding of social media software tools and analytics.
A sound understanding of social/digital trends to engage with consumers and build audiences in new ways.
Social media community management experience.
The ability to coordinate multiple competing priorities to ensure cohesion with day to day posting and campaign activity.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite software’s to produce social content.
Strong communications skills, copywriting and proofreading ability
