About the Opportunity? ASC is committed to continuously enhancing our organisational capabilities, particularly in supporting Submarine Build and Sustainment programs of work.
The Skills and Training Academy Strategy Manager is accountable for supporting the development of the South Australian (SA) Campus of the Skills and Training Academy (STA) and training infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities? Definition and maintenance of the STA strategy and requirements and ensuring delivery of outcomes aligned to that strategy Preparation and delivery of internal and external briefings to ensure key stakeholders are informed on project progress.
Participation in external workshops with key stakeholders on the strategy and infrastructure planning of the STA.
Act as the ASC lead for STA implementation and other future training infrastructure projects.
Work with key stakeholders to develop an implementation plan to achieve Initial Operating Capability phase for the SA STA.
Work with the Joint Partner to define the proposed learning curriculum for the SA STA.
Delivery of inputs to into internal/external workshops including coordination of internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as required.
Provision of leadership to the broader STA team.
Direct and ensure delivery of ASC's support to STA pilot workforce growth initiatives.
Ensure completion of ASC legal compliance training.
About you?? A relevant qualification in project management, training, business or equivalent experience in project management in an educational setting or strategy definition.
A minimum of 10 years' experience in a complex project environment with responsibility for defining strategy (or equivalent) ideally in the delivery of technical training/education programs.
Demonstrated understanding of project strategy creations and alignment to organisational goals.
Excellent writing skills, time management, organisational skills, the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with others.
Autonomous, goal directed and capable of managing multiple priorities with limited direction.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Eligibility? This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology.
Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
