As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.The Hot Strip Mill is a key asset in the BlueScope Steel Supply Chain that provides a range of hot rolled product into the domestic and export markets including Hot Coil Processing, Coil Plate, Slitting, Flat Bar and Welded Beam processing.In this role, you'll ensure the shift operations teams are focused on the delivery of exceptional performance whilst taking every opportunity to minimise cost and waste. Supporting your team and the department, you'll focus on encouraging continuous improvement strategies, and actively supporting management during change initiatives. You'll lead and manage the team's success through their performance and productivity to ensure our business plan objectives and targets are continually met.This permanent opportunity works on a 7-day roster, 12 hours - days and nights shifts.
