Roster: Monday-Friday The role involves supporting Fortescue's digital strategy within the Global Content Hub by producing high-quality video content, including filming, editing, and assembling raw footage and motion graphics.
The position requires staying current with industry trends, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines, and optimising content for various platforms and audience preferences.
You will also train internal stakeholders in video and photography equipment use, maintain Fortescue's multimedia asset archive, and manage digital equipment.
Additionally, the role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to create engaging content, contributing to the development of Fortescue's digital strategies, and occasionally filming location-based content.
The role will require a reasonable amount of travel to site, as required.
Key Responsibilities Film, edit, and assemble video footage and motion graphics to create compelling content aligned with Fortescue's brand and communications strategies.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance video content impact.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Train and support internal stakeholders in using video and photography equipment.
Optimise video content for various platforms and audience preferences.
Organise and maintain the quality of Fortescue's multimedia asset archive and digital equipment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop engaging digital content based on strategic multimedia requirements.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of Fortescue's digital and multimedia strategies.
Qualifications and Experience 5-10 years' experience in senior multimedia editing, production, or a similar role, preferably in high-end commercial or advertising post-production.
Proficient in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) and photo editing (Lightroom, Photoshop), with experience in motion graphics and visual effects.
Skilled in camera equipment, lighting techniques, and post-production processes; experience with drone operation and still photography.
Australian CASA RePL aerial pilot license preferred, or willing to achieve certification.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate creative briefs into high-quality content.
Able to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple projects with competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexible, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong team-oriented attitude.
Familiarity with ASX-listed organisation standards is a plus.
