What's your role? The Senior User Experience Designer is responsible for designing compelling digital experiences and interactions for our customers, aligning design consistency and quality across Bupa Health Insurance's digital channel, and driving a culture of continuous improvement in the Experience Design team. Specifically, this role will work to explore and define the customer experience of providing, authorizing and managing consent to share personal data across Bupa's eco-system of healthcare services. What will your day look like? Apply (and or create) the customer's insights to inform an accessible, sustainable, innovative solution that delivers the best experiences for our users to achieve their goals. Gain a deep understanding of how users perform actions in our experiences. Ensure all design is accurate and in line with Bupa design guidelines. Coach other team members on the end-to-end experience design process and provide feedback where required. Develop experience-led roadmaps, milestones, and plans. Responsible for the adoption and application of a unified Design System to assets and environments, such as myBupa or mobile app (iOS/Android) assets. What will you bring? 5+ years of web and native platform digital design or related design experience Demonstrated experience in consent management and centralised customer digital ID, profile management and authorisation. Ability to work with solution architects and technology, engaging with large stakeholder groups to support gathering business requirements and translating into seamless customer experiences. Proven ability to clearly articulate complex concepts A firm grasp of accessibility, responsive design, native standards, common UI patterns and usability best practices Working with a growth mindset leveraging Design thinking & HCD methodologies Demonstrated strong emotional intelligence; intimately understanding and empathising with Bupa customers varying journeys and preferences. Strong backgrou nd in using data and research to optimise usability performance. A firm grasp of accessibility, responsive design, native standards, common UI patterns and usability best practices Sound knowledge of design thinking methodologies, including Ethnography res earch method, workshop facilitation and various ideations methodologies. Experienced in user testing remote or online, range of UX research methods, including prototype testing, concept testing, contextual inquiry, surveys, competitor analysis, IA, and sitemaps. A strong portfolio of work across both responsive web and native application design Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex information and ideas briefly and concisely for a broad audience of stakeholders Expert knowledge of modern design tools (Figma, Framer, Protopie, After Effects, Lottie), how to work with complex component libraries and the willingness to adopt new tools as needed Demonstrated customer-centric mindset, building a user experience with the customer in mind atevery step of the journey.
