Cheil Worldwide Inc. is a marketing company under the Samsung Group that offers advertising, public relations, shopper marketing, sports marketing, and digital marketing. We are looking for a Senior Brand Strategist to join us during an exciting period of growth.
Reporting to the Group Director, the Senior Strategist will be responsible for Brand, Creative and Retail communications strategies, leading and establishing the agency's strategic capabilities, establishing a team, and working closely with Account Management and Creative in the planning and development of retail creative and solutions for Samsung and all other clients.
Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Brand & Creative communication strategy, including offline & online strategiesInterpreting and developing consumer insightsInterpreting client briefings and collaborating with the Business team and creative teams to present strategically sound creative solutions to our clientsDevelopment of creative briefs for internal briefingsPresenting strategies to our clientsDesigning Consumer Decision Journey (CDJ) scenarios and strategies to support the development of retail communicationsConnecting with other Cheil branches to share insights and case studiesRelationship building with key client Data and Insights teamsEstablishing strategic capabilities beyond self, capability, and team expansionAbout you: 7+ years previous experience in a similar role (agency experience in a strategy role is a must)Experience across Telecoms, Retail, and/or FMCG preferredCustomer strategy planning experience in carriers (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone) or FMCG companies preferredInternational experience welcomedResearch experience is also advantageousExcellent verbal, written, and visual presentation skillsHigh skillset in MS OfficeResults-driven, open-minded, and positive personalityExcellent communication and organizational skills with extreme attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface diplomatically with all levels of employees and managementAbility to work independently, be flexible, and have good time management skillsWhat's in it for you?
