We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Statutory Planner
to join our dynamic statutory planning team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and have extensive experience in statutory planning, including the assessment and determination of planning applications. As a successful applicant, you will become part of a highly motivated team of professionals and work with a diverse range of interesting and sometimes complex planning applications. In this role, you will have the chance to work on and lead the assessment of a mix of private sector, community, and public sector projects, utilising your technical planning expertise, report writing abilities, and your negotiating, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the assessment and determination of planning applications. Resolve complex planning matters effectively. Mentor and guide junior team members. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements and community expectations.
Key Qualifications:
A degree or higher qualification in town planning or equivalent. Significant experience in statutory planning. Demonstrated expertise in resolving complex planning matters. A natural leader with a talent for mentoring and the ability to achieve results efficiently and cost-effectively. Skilled in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements and community expectations. Hours: Full-Time, 75-hour fortnight (Part-time hours considered)
