About the opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Coach/Team Leader who is ready to hit the ground running and join our Clearlight team! As a Senior Sales Coach/Team Leader, you will play a critical role in the growth, development and success of our team of Sales Consultants. You will be responsible for the hands-on training and coaching of your team, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and motivation to excel; meeting and exceeding their KPIs. Your focus will be on collaborative problem-solving and tailoring solutions to enhance team performance, leading and guiding your team of consultants to identify individual and team development needs, ensuring continuous improvement.
This position is based out of our Ocean Shores Head Office in Northern NSW, and reports to the Head of Lead Generation and Conversion, with a dotted line to our COO. We are open to talent in other regions, so if you believe you have the right skills, we would love to hear from you!
Your Impact As someone who leads with integrity, you are process-driven, and solutions-focused with strong people-leadership skills and sales and business acumen. You additionally possess a strong working knowledge of CRM and general systems (Infusionsoft, Keap, Xero, Slack, Asana, GoogleDrive, Cin7 etc.).
Becoming an integral part of our sales function. Your primary focus will include;
Skill Development: help the sales team improve their communication, negotiation, and closing skills. You will provide training and practical exercises to enhance these abilities. You will actively manage, improve and train consultants on CRM utilisation, ensuring data integrity.Motivation and Encouragement: inspire and motivate the sales team, ensuring they remain focused and positive, especially during challenging times. As a Senior Sales Coach/Team Leader you will lead by example, and encourage a growth mindset and resilience.Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of each Sales team member, analysing metrics such as conversion rates, deal sizes, and sales cycles. You will utilise this data to identify areas for improvement and to tailor coaching sessions accordingly.Constructive Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to Sales team members, highlighting strengths and identifying any areas for development. This feedback is often based on observed behaviour during sales calls or presentations.Role-Playing and Simulation: Design and implement role-playing scenarios to simulate sales situations that foster professional growth. You will support Sales team members to practice their responses and improve their handling of objections and negotiations.Accountability and Goal Setting: Work with Sales team members to set and monitor realistic sales activity performance targets and challenging goals to drive sales effectiveness. You will support the team with any corrective actions as needed, ensuring accountability for achieving goals, developing and guiding the Sales team to be industry-wide sauna and wellbeing experts.Product and Market Knowledge: Ensure that Sales team members have a thorough understanding of the products and services they are selling, including the target markets. You will ensure sales campaigns are actively managed in collaboration with the Marketing department. This knowledge is critical for building credibility with customers.To be successful in the role You have a demonstrated successful track record of 3+ years as a Sales Coach, Trainer, Sales Manager/Team Leader, or equivalent industry-related experience with a strong background in sales.You have a passion for educating and delivering health and wellbeing solutions to improve quality of life and working with high-end, luxurious products.Experience setting, meeting and exceeding sales targets, driving results and managing a sales team.You have demonstrated experience with CRM and system management, data capture, analysis and communication of sales performance metrics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.You are self-disciplined, comfortable navigating change, and possess strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Efficiently identify areas of concern, developing effective strategies to manage your team in a fast-paced environment.You are passionate about working with and developing your team to achieve their full potential.You are collaborative and consultative and can easily build rapport with a diverse audience, communicating with clarity, empathy and respect.If you are passionate about fostering relationships and thrive on inspiring others with an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, don't delay and hit the apply button - we would love to hear from you!
