Senior Risk and Compliance Partner - FTC 18 monthsSalary circa £90,000This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their Business Partnering, compliance and risk management skills and a chance to undertake a key role in supporting a broad and fast paced area of Aviva. This role will allow you to play a direct role in a key strategic programme for Aviva working collaboratively with programme team and senior leaders to embed key risk disciplines and drive a positive risk culture. You will work closely with colleagues across Risk and Compliance to provide holistic second line of defence support across the programme.A bit about the job:In Risk and Compliance, we work collaboratively with the Insurance, Wealth and Retirement (IWR) business ensuring we focus on the things that matter to the Group and IWR Strategy, by creating foresight and insight for the business and supporting the business to enable our growth objectives through balanced risk taking.This Risk and Compliance Partner role will align you to a new programme which is a key strategic initiative looking to simplify and transform the IWR business. You will play an important role in supporting the programme team through agile oversight and robust second line challenge. Your role will help ensure that across the programme the key risks are identified and appropriately managed, good customer outcomes are delivered and that growth strategies are supported by balanced risk taking.Skills and Experience:Solid understanding of UK Regulatory and Operational Risk Management disciplines and Governance Frameworks in Financial Services, ideally someone with a conduct and Compliance or customer background.An ability to influence and gain confidence from senior management and challenge the status quo, as appropriate.First or second line experience of oversighting or managing a comprehensive range of Financial Services Operational and Conduct risks, ideally in the Transformation / operations arena, (including but not limited to, Product Development, Operational service provision, Outsourcing Partner Oversight, IT, Data and Change risks).Experience of delivering Risk and Compliance oversight and challenge to areas of complex change activity, areas of high Operational risk or Financial services Customer Operations / COO backgrounds.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with an agile approach and ability to prioritise effectively and operate at both a deep and broad level of information and complexity as required.
