Senior Receivables Lead, Full time closed period contract, based in Parramatta CBD, Hybrid Working Manage and mentor a team responsible for billing, revenue assurance, and collections within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.Play a pivotal role in financial stability by overseeing the accurate and timely processing of billing, subsidy claims, and month-end activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.About Uniting At Uniting, we believe in taking real steps to make the world a better place.

This role is responsible for managing this team's deliverables, including Client Billing, Subsidy Claims, Refundable Accommodation Deposits, and preparing reports for Management.
This role will also manage and act as a Subject Matter Expert for all system-related issues impacting the team for both BAU and project activities.
This role will also support the broader Revenue and Receivables Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the Manager of Revenue and Receivables to align business and strategic objectives with actionable targets and plans that team members can effectively implement.Stay informed about industry trends and commercial implications, demonstrating understanding of how departmental advice impacts other Directorates within Uniting.Contribute to developing and evaluating changes and improvements to departmental services.
Ensure these changes support the overall viability of Uniting.Establish and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive working environment that respects and celebrates staff diversity including nationality, cultural background, LGBTI status, abilities, gender, and age.As the Senior Receivables Lead, your role will: Take responsibility for a portfolio of IT projects and serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all Revenue and Receivables processes and systems affected by these projects.Manage day-to-day system issues and developments, collaborating with IT on issues or changes impacting the team.Identify and champion opportunities for process efficiencies and system improvements.Ensure completeness and accuracy of all monthly Billing and Subsidy claim journals in compliance with Aged Care regulations; review these journals monthly with the Revenue & Receivables Manager.Oversee and support the team in performing month-end activities and meeting deliverables as per company policies and procedures, while upholding internal controls.Engage with business stakeholders on routine activities and escalate issues to the Revenue and Receivables Manager when necessary.Address inquiries from customers and services regarding miscellaneous invoices and receipts.Prepare and distribute Month End reports to other Finance & Business teams.Qualifications and Experience Bachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience is a must.
Skills and Experience This is a management role, typically requiring 6 or more years' experience, including two or more years' experience supervising a small team of specialists.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be organized, systematic, thorough, accurate, and disciplined.
Excellent knowledge of Aged Care funding and reporting requirements.Proven knowledge of accounting principles as they relate to invoicing and receipting, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.Strong analytical skills and numerate ability are essential.Attention to detail and quality focused with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.Proven leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with Government departments, clients, service streams, staff, and other support functions to achieve client service outcomes.Excellent skills in the operation of ERP software, and analytical tools including Excel.Experience in consumer-oriented shared service environments managing large volumes & high complexity of transactions is essential.Ability to identify and assist in the implementation of system and process improvements.A demonstrated competency in Finance and billing systems.Experience working in a highly regulated environment is advantageous.
