Exciting Role- Temporary, Full-time, Herston | Perform application administration tasks for the RiskMan application
The Role
In this role, you will adhere to Queensland Department of Health's core values while performing system administration tasks for the RiskMan application. You may be required to actively engage in the design, development, and testing of information and reporting systems. Your responsibilities include managing data quality issues, initiating statistical reports, and disseminating communication materials. 
Additionally, you will identify and adapt new methodologies to meet Queensland Health's needs, participate in benchmarking studies, and utilise project management techniques to ensure project success and compliance with organisational policies. Furthermore, you will establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, provide specialist advice to the Department of Health and Hospital and Health Services, and contribute to training and relevant projects within the team while upholding ethical standards and promoting workplace safety and diversity.
The successful person
To excel in this position, you should highlight proficiency in utilising information technology systems for data collection, analysis, reporting, and distribution. Strong written communication skills are essential for preparing precise documentation, reports, and project communications.
Moreover, effective consultation, facilitation, and both written and verbal communication abilities are crucial, particularly for engaging with senior-level internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated competence in contributing to project planning, delivering results, and effectively managing multiple tasks to meet established deadlines and obligations is also required.

The role of the Clinical Excellence Queensland (CEQ) is to drive the patient safety, quality improvement and clinical improvement agendas for the Queensland health system. It will achieve this by identifying, monitoring, and promoting improvements in the quality of health services delivered by service providers (both Hospital and Health Services and private health facilities, globally and within Queensland), and support and facilitate the dissemination of best-practice clinical standards and processes that achieve better outcomes for patients. The quality improvement agenda is actively supported by a significant research agenda. The Division is also accountable for setting and supporting the direction for mental health, alcohol, and other drug services in Queensland, as well monitoring and reporting on performance.
