Senior Project Manager

Shaw Contracting (Aust) Pty Ltd is a leading provider of Civil, Building and Mining Contracting services, based in Tasmania. We are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager with civil infrastructure/civil roads experience based in Hobart, reporting to the Project Delivery Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on major civil engineering projects across the General Infrastructure sector delivering major projects, and for you to mentor a number of young professional engineers.
About the role You will drive business objectives to ensure that Shaw succeeds and delivers for the client.
About you A bachelor's and/or master's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related disciplineProven experience as a Senior Project Manager, demonstrating successful project delivery within AustraliaStrong background in project management methodologies and best practicesIn-depth understanding of quality management processesA commitment to maintaining and improving safety standards in project environmentsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsThe role will assume full accountability and responsibility for project deliverables, and will have an absolute commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
