As a Senior Project Manager at Andrew Walter Constructions, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of complex construction projects in southern Tasmania. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our respected construction company.
What you'll be doing Provide strategic leadership and direction for multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standardsManage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk mitigation and stakeholder engagementCollaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to understand requirements, communicate progress and resolve any issuesMonitor project performance and provide regular updates to senior managementIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement more efficient project management practicesMentor and develop junior project management staff, sharing your expertise and fostering their professional growthWhat we're looking for Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projectsDegree qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related fieldExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal teamsProficient in the use of project management software, ie Procore, MS Project, Word, Excel etc and tools to plan, monitor and report on project progressStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding innovative solutions and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to safety and quality with a deep understanding of construction industry regulations, specifications and best practiceWhat we offer Andrew Walter Constructions are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and supportive work environment including a competitive salary, opportunity for career progression and ongoing professional development.
