Senior Project Manager

6 months contract Belconnen location - Must work on site$130PH + 11% superAbout the Role:As a Senior Project Manager you will oversee property redevelopment projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe and affordable housing solutions for the Canberra community.Key Responsibilities:Manage design and construction projects from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and scope targets.Oversee design and construction contracts and service agreements with consultants and contractors.Collaborate with the Infrastructure Delivery team and stakeholders on project design, procurement, and construction.Act as Principal's representative for construction and design contracts.Adhere to Government procurement processes and exercise appropriate delegations.Provide high-level customer service and administer various project tasks.Monitor project financials accurately and prepare necessary documentation.Required Experience:Demonstrated experience in project management, delivering design and construction projects within tight deadlines and changing environments.Understanding of risk management in construction projects.Knowledge of Government procurement processes or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.Strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, delivering high-quality outputs within budget constraints.Additional Requirements:Desirable qualifications: Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management.Trade certification within building and infrastructure is advantageous.Experience or willingness to acquire skills in planning, design, or project management.Familiarity with ACT building and design specifications is highly desirable.REF: 265670To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Antonia Levantis on 02 61519211 or email: ****** and quote the above job reference number.
