Senior Product Manager Electronic Arts Firemonkeys Studio in Melbourne is regarded throughout the industry as a leader in delivering high-quality, engaging games on iOS and Android. We release new, meaningful updates on a regular basis for our live mobile games such as The Sims FreePlay.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager reporting to the Director of Product to define,market, and support our free-to-playmobile gaming portfolio. You will work closely with our development teams and stakeholders to understand the market, identify opportunities, and provide analytics insightsfrom creation to launch for our live operations. You will also be responsible for prioritizing product features, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that the team is working on the most impactful tasks. This is a strategic, metrics-driven rolefocusing on the game's user acquisition, engagement, and monetizationcrucial todelivering engaging and viral games that are fun, iconic, and meet our revenue goals. You will learn a ton, have fun, and be a critical part of our success.
Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and marketing, to provide new experiences and features to our players Maximize titles' acquisition, engagement, monetization, and of course, fun! Act as a liaison between the stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities Oversee the development stages, ensuring the final product meets the defined requirements Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation Analyse games industry market trends and competitor strategies Manage virtual economies and economy models Use analytics and quantitative analysis to monitor game performance, tune mechanics, and identify new opportunities and features to improve user conversion, retention, and monetization Coordinate with marketing, creative, and franchise teams to promote titles both in-game and externally to optimize response/ROI Work with Product Directors in business planning and KPI setting for the team Qualifications 5+ years of experience in product management within consumer web,ande-commerce products Experienceusing Excel (can perform complex functions) or BI tools (Power BI or Tableau) to build dashboards and produce insights Experience in a B2C product management environment where your consumer is the priority Knowledge of Agile process and principles with experience with product management tools like JIRA or Trello Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners Games industry experience is desirable with Mobile expertise as a plus BA/BS degree – CS/EE/Engineering degree; MBA preferred Note: Please include a link to your portfolio or examples of previous work in your application.
