Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer The Purpose of this role is to undertake the planning, development and negotiation of procurement activities with the clinical consumables category across Metro North Hospital and Health Service in a client focussed and transparent manner.
To undertake the planning, development and negotiation of procurement activities with the clinical consumables category across Metro North Hospital and Health Service in a client focussed and transparent manner. The role is involved in the delivery of clinical consumables procurement and contract management activities for Metro North covering, but not limited to:
Clinical consumables Prostheses Pharmaceuticals Medical Gas Panel and Standing Offer Arrangements as it relates to the clinical consumables category. The Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer provides expert advice to colleagues and customers within Metro North Hospital and Health Service to ensure that all legislative and organisational requirements are complied with during planning and throughout procurement activities.
The role will be responsible for managing procurement process relating to day-to-day procurement as well as establishing standing offer arrangements and panel arrangements, with a view towards maximising value and efficiencies in both process and cost for Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
