Job Purpose The role of Senior People & Culture Business Partner is to support the delivery of UGL Regional Linx people agenda across their respective client groups in order to:
Provide the human resource capability needed to ensure achievement of business strategies and objectives;Support the development of the site's leadership capability to ensure they are able to drive performance and outcomes through the management of their teams;Support a culture of continuous improvement and engagement;Mitigate employment based financial risk to the organisation;Ensure compliance with Company Policies and legislative requirements.Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality P&C expertise to support end to end People and Culture activities across Regional Linx:
Provide strategic and operational HR business partnering by implementing solutions to business strategy and, by successfully integrating the P and C strategy.Analysis and interpret data and information and transfer into commercial solutions (including HR Metrics).Collate and prepare HR metrics, organisational charts and headcount reporting activities including administering changes to employment terms and conditions.Support the delivery of the annual HR functional milestones including performance management process, employee reward process for salaried and non-salaried employees, employee engagement survey, budget and workforce planning cycle, code of conduct, talent and succession planning.Champion employee engagement and assist with the deployment of relevant programs and initiatives that build effective leadership capability, enhancing the organisation's culture and working experience of our employees.Accountable for the administration of all employee life cycle activities including employee internal movements, separations and changes to employment terms and conditions and maintenance of employee personnel files.Delivery of robust resourcing plan for client groups within agreed resourcing model, including leading the recruitment strategy and supporting the activity with Resourcing team, including employee onboarding.Provide expert advice and guidance to line managers in all Employee Relations matters (such as grievance, disciplinary); Provide timely and accurate HR/ER/IR advice to supervisors, managers and the project.Support managers and the project on all IR matters including; EA interpretation, union matters and disputes.As necessary assist in performance management and discipline matters.Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in HR (preferred), Law, Psychology or Business Management.
6+ years' experience in a previous Senior HR or Management position.
Solid negotiating and influencing skills.
Solid understanding of workplace relations legislation (e.g.
EEO and diversity).
Excellent verbal and influencing communication skills.
Experience in EA interpretation and Union activity.
Implementation of change & change management skills.
Ability to co-ordinate, collaborate and support other streams.
Commercial acumen.
