The School of Medical and Applied Sciencesis in search of an engaging and experienced Chiropractic professional who is passionate about sharing their skills with the next generation. Working as part of theCollege of Health Sciences , you will work with communities, industry and governments to provide educational training and applied research solutions that make a real-world difference.
In this role, you will work as part of a growing team of chiropractic academics to deliver innovative chiropractic education. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering recorded lectures using appropriate software, conducting in-person and online tutorials, practical classes, and clinical supervision amongst other teaching and learning activities. To succeed in this role, you will have current teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate chiropractic education, be a passionate, people-focussed professional who enjoys collaborating and cooperating with others to achieve positive outcomes and who responds well to change.
Contribute significantly to teaching efforts, while playing a role in scholarship, research, and professional activities. Position Requirements
Doctoral qualification (PhD/EdD) in a relevant discipline preferred, with a primary chiropractic qualification.
Over 5 years of clinical chiropractic practice and current university teaching experience, including supervision and innovative material development.
Current full AHPRA registration and commitment to completing a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education if not already held.
Strong understanding of higher education issues, with proven ability to network with industry and mentor junior staff.
Experience in quality assurance, curriculum review, and compliance with TEQSA and CCEA standards.
