applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)Supportive and Friendly team environment where we value growth and developmentAward winning organisation wide Health and Wellbeing initiativesWork in a dynamic and collaborative environment The City of Yarra is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect or other allied professional to join a high performing team as the Senior Landscape Architect and Open Space Planner.Operating in a dynamic inner-city Council, the position will develop Council's strategic direction, policies and design and documentation for open space affecting new and existing open space landscapes and assets.A key to your success will be expertise in advocating for Open Space in strategic documents affecting all of Council and the ability to implement recommendations of Council's Open Space Strategy. To succeed, you will have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal clients, government agencies, developers and the broader community.The position also requires demonstrated skills in the design and documentation of quality open space landscapes and services (parks, gardens, streetscapes).The role sits in the City Strategy Branch which includes Urban Design, Strategic Planning, Economic Development and Open Space Planning and Design.
