Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Human Resources Manager to join their team in Alice Springs NT Australia. The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for the management of the human resources function for all Amentum sites in Australia. You will provide specialized, in-depth guidance encompassing the development and implementation of human resource strategy, policy, and management initiatives.
Responsibilities/Duties: Partner with Functional Area Managers (FAMs) and project management in the achievement of organization goals, ensuring the development and implementation of relevant human resource strategy, policy, and initiatives. Ensure all human resource and Talent acquisition operational requirements are met for the organization. Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, including assignment and monitoring of work, development, communication, reward, and recognition, and overall performance. Manage the employee performance management and compensation process within the organization and facilitate leadership succession planning and incentive planning. Support, facilitate, and conduct employee development efforts. Identify new development requirements to support organization goals and outcomes. Oversee Enterprise Agreement management, negotiation, and interpretation; liaise with the Employee Committee, and Fair Work Australia as required. Manage the establishment and ongoing maintenance of the EA Register. Develop, implement, and oversee efforts to promote diversity, outreach, and compensation equity. Monitor the implementation of Affirmative Action Programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Ensure managers are aware of diversity program goals through regular communication and training, monitor relevant programs and communicate progress. Communicate and provide guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Ensure compliance with all site's environmental health and safety requirements. Any other reasonable duties as requested. Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree or Equivalent demonstrated experience. 8 years of diverse human resource experience, with a minimum of 3 years of human resource management experience. Knowledge of human resource process improvement models. Experience in developing organizations' human resource strategic plans. Experience building and sustaining high-performing integrated teams. Experience supporting 24x7 operational environments. Knowledge of human resource management policies and experience supporting a multi-functional team. Development of working relationships at all levels of the business and ability to motivate others. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with varied stakeholders. Experience with MS Office operating systems and human resource information systems. Preferred Qualifications: Certificate IV – Human Resources Certificate IV – Workplace Training and Assessment CPHR / FCPHR or PHR / SHRM-CP Certification Post Graduate Qualifications Minimum Required Tickets and Licenses: Drivers License Applicants will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including referee checks, Criminal History check and a pre-employment medical assessment. It is a condition of employment that employees are Australian citizens to obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will be required to obtain a security clearance.
