They're seeking an experienced Senior Group Accountant that will join the statutory reporting & tax team to assist the senior management and make significant contributions to overarching financial stability.

The position is based near Sydney's Darling Harbour and offering a package of up to 125k + super, depending on experience.
Responsibilities: Reporting Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements across multiple funds Preparation of monthly CFO report with commentary Preparation of month end journals including elimination entries for consolidation and balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of AASB16 calculation and administration of Nomos One (lease management software) Perform impairment assessment at reporting period ends Assist with Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation Liaising with auditors and managing information requests for full year/half year reviews Collate information required for independent valuations Liaise with venue accountants on month end reporting and intercompany recharges Elimination journals for various consolidation entities Intercompany reconciliations for various entities Management of internal/external leases through lease management software.
Periodic rental invoices and recharge of outgoings to lessee AASB16 lease accounting entries for half year / year end Tax Monthly deferred tax calculation and journals Monthly BAS, IAS Employment taxes including payroll tax and FBT Liaising with tax agents on annual income tax return and tax calculation reviews Calculation of quarterly distributions and associated tax components Capital gain/loss calculation, as required Treasury Monthly cash flow analysis and review Liaise with banks for loan rollover/drawdown/repayment Manage bank facility compliance including reporting as required under the facility agreement Intra-group loan and interest calculation Preparation of finance costs forecast Other/Adhoc Preparation of annual budgets Assist with information request for insurance renewals Identify government subsidies and apply for grants relevant for the Funds Ensure completion of ABS Surveys Paid parental Leave reports for payroll Other adhoc tasks as required Submit relevant reports/returns as required by Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) Skills and Experience: CPA/CA, those studying/not yet studying will also be considered Proven experience in the accounting & finance space Great written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail Quick learner, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong computer literacy and excel skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
