Duties & Responsibilities You will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial information relating to multiple business entities within the group, including: Recording of all financial information in accordance with accounting standards Bank account management and reconciliations Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations Maintenance of fixed asset registers Management of lease accounting AASB16 and schedules Work in progress accounting Fleet management duties Work in close collaboration with the Commercial Finance Manager to collate financials for monthly operational meetings, Board meetings, and other presentations as required by Management Management of half-year and full-year audit process Tax compliance - BAS, Income Tax, FBT Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, cash flow, and reporting Skills & Experience Required Demonstrated experience in end-to-end financial accounting duties, with a strong understanding of key accounting concepts and reporting standards Approachable and curious, not afraid to ask questions and seek clarification, with a high capacity for using initiative and being proactive Appetite for learning, continuous improvement, and problem-solving Flexible attitude, managing time effectively to adapt to changing priorities Highly developed interpersonal skills, as this is a key role within the team and will require liaising with stakeholders across several entities Previous experience in a commercial environment Benefits & Culture This organisation continues to grow and prosper, offering long-term career development opportunities Genuine scope for this position to evolve and develop due to growth Milton location, close to public transport, various parking options, retail, and excellent coffee Job security, an active social calendar, and a culture built on collaboration and teamwork About the Company This is one of Australia's leading building services companies.
