Full timeIvory Insurance is a newly APRA licensed Australian general insurer, providing capacity to the Australian SME market in the areas of professional indemnity and general liability insurance. Ivory is managed by an experienced and committed Executive team whose careers have seen them work for some of Australia's largest insurance and financial services companies.We are looking for a permanent Senior Financial Accountant to join our Brisbane based Finance team.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the key aspects of this role include:Support the CFO with Ivory's quarterly and annual APRA reporting obligations.End-of-month close including monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Assist with the preparation of finance related Management and Board reports.Preparation of supporting schedules for statutory financial reports and engaging with the external audit team.Support the CFO with budgeting, reforecasting and cashflow forecasts.Accounts payable, Business Activity Statements and intercompany reconciliations.Tax compliance.About you:CA or CPA qualified.Big 4 background with exposure to APRA-regulated general insurers highly regarded.Strong understanding of accounting concepts, including AASB / IFRS.Strong Excel and/or Power BI skills highly regarded.Team player with excellent communication skills who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.What's on Offer:Fantastic opportunity to get in on the ground and grow your career with a new Australian general insurer.Work closely with an experienced and approachable Executive team.Competitive remuneration & performance based annual bonus.Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.What can I earn as a Financial Accountant#J-18808-Ljbffr
