Senior Financial Accountant

6-month contract with a cutting-edge healthcare company Macquarie Park (2 days WFH) $110k - $120k + Super Join an iconic Australian healthcare company that has been established for over 70 years with over 180 locations across the nation. This role reports to the Financial Accounting Manager and was created to help with the growing business.
Key duties include:
Completion of month end close process and monthly deadlines around flash reports Management of internal and external stakeholders Reporting packs to the Department of Finance for actuals and budgets. Ownership of cash flow planning processes Ensure all statutory reports are completed and submitted on time Process payments through the banking website in accordance with established standards Preparation of FBT, BAS, and GST Implement process improvements after each month end Assist with the clearing of all audit findings as shown in the Auditors closing report Assist with the maintenance of internal control policy and procedures documentation The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with over 5 years of experience in a similar position. To be successful you must have exposure to medium or large companies as well as being up to date on statutory requirements and accounting standards. As an individual you will be solution-oriented, hardworking, a keen learner, hold yourself to high standards and have excellent communication skills.
