Senior Cook

Wattle Hill Care is a stand-alone, 62 bed facility located in Bunbury.
We have a tremendous group of staff taking the very best care of the aged in our community.

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to join our close-knit team in a full-time capacity, (76 hours per fortnight).
There is a requirement that the person appointed must be willing to work afternoon and weekend shifts when required.

To be considered for this role, you must have unlimited rights to work in Australia and also possess a trade qualification from a recognised training institution, (Cert III or above in commercial cooking).
We will also consider candidates who will graduate this year.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Effective verbal and written communication skills Able to work autonomously and as part of a team Ability to prioritise workload Ability to coordinate and prepare a freshly-cooked meal service Experience working in an aged care facility and knowledge of HACCP would be advantageous.
