A rare opportunity has arisen to appoint a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our commercial finance team in our national support office in Rowville. You will be responsible for commercial reporting and insights for the team. To be successful in the role, you will identify opportunities for financial improvement and assist key stakeholders with reporting to ensure business initiatives are delivering the expected financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities include:
Complete month-end reporting and provide meaningful insights into the financial performance. Partner with the Merchandise, Digital and Marketing business stakeholders to source financial and non-financial information for the preparation of in-depth analysis and the development of financial forecasts. Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets for the business units. Support the business with ad hoc financial and commercial analysis and reports as required. Work collaboratively to formulate financial models feeding into the strategic growth initiatives. Make business improvement recommendations to the relevant business leads by providing analytical support for those recommendations. Key interactions with Executive General Managers and their leadership teams across the business. Report directly into General Manager Commercial Finance. All about you:

Experience in a Commercial or Business Analyst type role. Large multi-site sales environment experience highly regarded. Tertiary qualification in Finance or similar. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Demonstrated ability to influence the decision-making process. Strong stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to initiate business improvement ideas. IT literacy and advanced Microsoft skills, specifically Excel and other software including Data Warehouse (Cognos experience preferable). A planned approach, strong organisational skills and self-motivation. Financial accounting experience – CPA / CA highly regarded. Looking after you:
