Your new role: We are looking for a Claims Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a member of our team you will –
Manage a portfolio of claims from lodgement to resolutionAssess claims for reasonable and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation needsProvide an excellent level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholdersCalculate settlement offers, negotiate settlements and attend settlement conferences with lawyers and CounselDisplay behaviours that contribute and drive a positive culture.Important to your Success: 3-5 years Insurance experience in management of North Queensland Claims – Highly RegardedLocal knowledge of North Queensland and a working relationship with stakeholders in the regionBe customer focussed - previous experience and ability to thrive within in a high paced, high volume environmentResilient in natureExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills (including managing emotionally charged situations)Knowledge and/or experience in the personal injury or insurance industry is desirable.What we offer you: Suncorp's employee benefits are designed to support, empower and reward our people.
