Finance Business Partner – Townsville Based Manage finance activities, including oversight of multiple plants and projects.
Lead the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
Review capital expenditure proposals to meet financial criteria.
The Role Based in our Townsville office, your role will be to contribute to business performance and growth by providing timely, accurate financial information for the Ammonium Phosphates Value Chain, and support the Senior Finance Business Partner in advising the NAO leadership team.
Manage and provide finance support to the Senior Finance Business Partner.
Strengthen business compliance within the Operations team and ensure processes align with internal control requirements.
Oversee the development and preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for Northern Operations.
Ensure the timely processing of month-end transactions, preparation of associated reconciliations, and relevant monthly performance reporting.
Provide financial guidance to Operations Managers and actively highlight the importance of management accounting information in operational decision-making.
Drive significant improvements in financial and business processes to help Operations achieve its strategic goals.
What You'll Bring You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.
Ideally, you'll be CA/CPA qualified (but not a deal breaker) with experience within a manufacturing environment.
You'll be well versed with Australian Accounting Standards with a background in cost/management accounting.
You're commercially astute, with great communication and influencing of senior stakeholders.
We use SAP, and it would be advantageous if you could hit the ground running.
