The opportunity: We're looking for someone that can partner closely with business representatives and technology teams to deliver high quality Business Analysis services for complex initiatives to drive strategic outcomes for our customers.
In this role, you'll be supporting the development of new changes over the entire Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC), including in depth analysis of our customer need and pain points; assisting designers and developers to understand customer needs and how these are represented in our requirements; supporting testing where appropriate and providing project implementation support when needed.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have: A minimum 5 years' experience working as a Business Analyst. Experience working with SQL. Experience leading and defining the analysis approach regardless of complexity in projects/Agile product deliveries. This is a permanent role that can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide. We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you'll have the flexibility to work from one of our offices in these locations or work from home. How will I help? You will add value by:
Partnering closely with business initiative owners to develop a deep understanding of the challenges, pain points and areas of opportunity. Planning, establishing, and facilitating stakeholder workshops. Conducting Cost/Benefit Analysis to support discovery and new business investment proposals. Developing current and future state process documentation. Developing business requirement specifications (BRS) and functional requirement specification (FRS) documentation (as required/project specific) and utilising standard templates and guidelines. Challenging and asking 'why' to provide the best solution for the business and our customers. Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop clear and unambiguous product backlogs of work which deliver the outcomes needed by our business. Working with the team to define Epics, Features, User Stories, and tasks per business initiatives at pace. Defining concise acceptance criteria which supports the delivery team and testers.
