About the Role The team is responsible for BAU management/oversight of wholesale credit risk regulatory reporting returns, analysis/optimisation of risk reporting data and visualisations, briefing of senior APRA delegates on reporting and controls, as well as responding to ad-hoc deep-dive requests from senior management.
The wider function includes a broad range of teams spanning areas such as Capital and Provisioning Analytics, Risk Projects, Credit Risk Modelling, Stress Testing and Forecasting, Data and Infrastructure and Risk Systems.

As a Senior Analyst for Group Risk Information Delivery, you will be responsible for supporting the following: • Oversight of regulatory reporting deliverables for wholesale lending returns (e.g.
ARF 221 Large Exposures, HKMA Large Exposures and ARF 741/742 EFS reporting) • Utilising SQL to analyse reporting data and collaborating with IT/reporting teams to create changes in regulatory reporting based on analysis • User Acceptance Testing of code changes, and front-line system changes to reporting data • Enhancing/simplifying controls over reporting processes to improve operational effectiveness and risk management, whilst maintaining compliance with prudential requirements • Assisting with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from senior management • Influencing key stakeholders across risk, business, and finance to ensure regulatory reporting is accurate and that APRA delegates are comfortable with the numbers they are signing off What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: • Qualifications in commerce, finance, IT, or a related field • Data analysis/SQL coding experience is essential o Experience with code changes and user acceptance testing would be an advantage • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential • Able to work under tight schedules and consistently meet objectives • Understanding of credit risk metrics or experience in regulatory reporting would be desirable • Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines into business requirements would be desirable • A demonstrated ability to be pro-active, with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
