About us The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government.
We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses.

About the role As our Senior Adviser, Campaigns you'll be at the heart of exciting behaviour change and education campaigns, collaborating with a dynamic team to drive real change.
The Senior Adviser, Campaigns is part of a high performing team that partners with Consumer Affairs Victoria to tell the stories that bring the regulator's work to life.
This role is responsible for campaign strategy, coordination, implementation and bringing engaging campaigns to market that encourage behaviour change and educate and inform Victorians.
The Senior Adviser, Campaigns will work in collaboration with stakeholders and colleagues across the department, develop strong internal and external relationships and networks, and contribute to the government's Annual Advertising Plan.

About you As our ideal candidate, you will be able to demonstrate: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality, innovative campaign strategies and materials through a variety of channels.
* Proven experience at a senior level in planning, project management and managing the implementation of campaigns within a large, complex environment.
This includes monitoring and evaluating projects as part of continual improvement.
* Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, provide timely and accurate advice and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Mandatory requirements * Tertiary qualifications in public relations, communication, advertising or equivalent, and/or experience in a government communication/marketing role.
* Experience and awareness of government campaign and advertising processes and media buying.
