About the Role:
Due to sustained growth, my client is seeking a Senior Business Services Supervisor or Manager to take on a key role that splits evenly between compliance and advisory services. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar-sized accounting practice, ideally looking to step up into a leadership position.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients with turnovers typically between $5M - $15M, with the largest up to $50M. Deliver a range of accounting services, including financial statements, tax returns, and compliance work. Provide strategic business advisory services such as tax planning, business analysis, and financial forecasting. Autonomously manage jobs from start to finish, maintaining direct client contact and reporting to a Partner. Oversee and mentor a small team of up to 5 junior accountants, ensuring quality and compliance in all deliverables. Skills & Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within a public practice environment. Experience working with clients across various industries, with turnovers up to $50M. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Ability to work autonomously and lead a small team.
