We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. To qualify for this role, a minimum of 4 years of Australian Taxation experience in a Public Practice firm is required.
What we are offering: Salary between $90,000 and $120,000 (inclusive of super / depending on experience) Bonus structure. Working 3 days a week from home / 2 days in the office, after probation. Equipment provided for WFH set-up. Support and opportunity for career growth. Your personal ITR including your spouse is complementary. Your Role: As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for undertaking all production accounting activities, including preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and taxation requirements, and delivering associated quality, professional accounting outcomes.
Other requirements: A strong working knowledge of Xero. Experience working with QuickBooks and MYOB is also desirable. Attend monthly company training and taxation training. Preparation of monthly and quarterly business activity statements. Preparation of annual tax returns & financial accounts for SMSF. Knowledge of FBT, Small business Concessions, Non-Commercial Loss Rules, Div7A. Preparation of annual tax returns & financial accounts for: Individuals Sole traders Partnerships Companies Trusts Note: Candidates must live in Australia & have permanent work rights with no restrictions to apply for this position.
