The Team In times of change and disruption, our experienced Strategy & Transformation consultants work closely with government clients to identify the best ways to adapt, implement effective solutions, and support their teams through the transition. Within our Strategy & Transformation capability, our Portfolio & Program Management team helps clients design, accelerate and manage delivery of their most important programs of work. We bring strong technical skills and extensive portfolio, program and project management (P3M) experience. We combine this with strategy and design expertise to help our clients translate strategy and policy into actionable programs and portfolios of work, supported by effective delivery teams and ways of working.
The Role Do you want to make a difference working with government clients and using your experience in portfolio, program or project management? As an experienced client-facing consultant at Scyne Advisory, you'll lead key workstreams focused on delivering agreed client outcomes. You will have a clear understanding of the objectives of the engagement and will drive the design and delivery activities needed to create high quality client deliverables and contribute to a positive client experience.
In this role you would focus on working with our Federal Government and Defence clients and will create value by:
Leading the development of key client deliverables or streams of work Applying your knowledge in portfolio, program, or project management to our clients' most impactful initiatives Solving client problems by conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, including client interviews and workshops, document reviews and the presentation of our findings and recommendations. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and within our business. Assisting in business development activities such as development of proposals, internal account team initiatives, and thought leadership development. Taking ownership of your professional growth (and that of your teams) through the sharing of experiences, development of technical skills and career management advice. What you will bring to the position: Relevant technical experience, such as project and program management, PMO, or change management (experience in other roles will also be considered) Project management certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, AgilePM, Professional Scrum Master or SAFe are highly desirable Proven experience working with Federal Government, Defence or other public sector organisations Strong communications and interpersonal skills Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Proactive mindset and proven ability to quickly pick up new concepts. Candidates with an existing NV1 or higher (for Defence) or Baseline security clearance are strongly preferred.
