Want to be part of it?State Control Centre (SCC) SCC Finance and Procurement LeadVPS5 salary of $106,534 to $128,897 plus superannuationWhat does the business unit do?Emergency Management, within the Department of Justice and Community Safety works closely with government and agencies across the emergency management portfolio. The group is led by the Deputy Secretary, Emergency Management. Emergency Management includes the department's emergency management accountabilities and statutory entities and offices.Emergency Management Victoria (EMV) leads emergency management in Victoria by working with government, agencies and business to strengthen their capacity to withstand, plan for, respond to and recover from emergencies. EMV is a statutory entity and is part of the Department of Justice and Community Safety (the Department). The Department, through the Secretary, employs EMV staff and provides corporate functions to EMV. EMV is led jointly by the Chief Executive (CE) and the Emergency Management Commissioner (EMC).The purpose of the Operations Branch is to lead the emergency operational coordination and state operations in Victoria by working with communities, government, agencies and business to strengthen their capacity to withstand, plan for, respond to and recover from emergencies.What will the SCC Finance and Procurement Lead do?Lead and coordinate all State Control Centre (SCC) finance, procurement and business analytic activities, including supporting the broader Operations branch.Provide strategic high-level advice to the Operations Leadership group.Lead the collection, monitoring, and reporting on SCC and Operations financial and business data.What skills and knowledge should a SCC Finance and Procurement Lead have?As our ideal candidate, you will have:Experience in managing commercial contracts and service delivery standards.Strong procurement, reporting and analytical skills.Ability to multi-task and ability to prepare reports on financial situations at any given time.For further information please refer to the attached position description.How to applyPlease click the Apply button on this advertisement.
