About the role: An exciting opportunity has opened for a motivated and energetic Buyer to join our vibrant team in our Adelaide-based National Support Office.
This is a great role for an agile individual who has a desire to develop processes, can work independently and provide business insights across multiple sites and states.
About you: Your proven previous experience in a similar environment (preferably retail or FMCG) coupled with your ability to manage multiple stakeholders is essential.
You will not only possess strong analytical skills but have robust technical skills.
The successful candidate will demonstrate: Demonstrated experience in a buying role in a multi-site retail environment; Exceptional organisation and time management skills; Knowledge of the pharmacy industry is highly desirable but not essential; Ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines; Reporting skills with the ability to run reports that assist in monitoring and maintaining supplier performance and stock levels; High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail; Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel; Ability to analyse sales data and apply sound judgment when making buying decisions; Highly developed interpersonal, consultation and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence and liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders in a way that encourages support and respect; Strong verbal and written communication skills; An ability and willingness to adapt to and embrace change.
