About the role Whether you are an experienced early childhood leader or you're ready for your first lead role – we can support you.
Located in Hobart CBD, our service is rated Exceeding by the National Quality Standard (NQS) and supports children to explore, discover, and learn.
The centre offers great facilities including a brand-new playground and furnishings.
As the Room Leader, you will support a team of educators that are passionate about nurturing the confidence, strengths, and interests of the children in our high-quality, Reggio Emilia inspired early learning program.
You will implement programs that reflect cultural backgrounds and the emerging skills and interests of children and create a play-based learning environment responsive to children's strengths and abilities.
You will implement daily routines, maintain records of development, and continuously reflect and improve children's learning.

About you Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent), you have a sound knowledge of early learning quality and educational frameworks.
You will also bring with you: An ability to lead the provision of a developmentally appropriate program for the children, in partnership with other educators, families and children.
An ability to plan, reflect, work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the National Law and Regulations.
An ability to learn and understand early childhood development theories.
