YOUR NEW JOB As Risk Manager at Alfabs this role is key to ensuring the sustainable and safe growth of the business.
As Alfabs continues to expand, the Risk Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, enhancing safety, and driving efficiency across all departments.
In this newly created role, you will be the go-to expert in all things risk, responsible for overseeing Quality, HR, Safety, IT, Commercial and Contract Management.
You will work directly with the CEO ensuring every corner of the company is covered when it comes to managing risk, spotting risks they haven't even thought of yet!
This position directly contributes to strategic planning and decision-making by providing insights that protect the company's growth trajectory and reputation.
Controlling contracts, or collaborating with HR and safety teams, you see every challenge as an opportunity.
Your ability to think outside the box and find a way is crucial to our continued success.
You'll drive initiatives that aren't just about managing risk but empowering Alfabs to grow smarter, safer, and stronger.
ABOUT YOU You've got experience managing risk for large, multidisciplinary businesses, ideally in industries like construction, engineering, or mining.
You've got the insight to identify potential risks and the initiative to turn them into opportunities.
Bachelor's degree in, Law, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years in risk management roles, ideally in the construction or engineering sector.
Experience with legal compliance, contract management, and stakeholder management.
Proven ability to lead risk management initiatives and contribute to organisational growth.
