The Residential Administrator Support Officer is tasked with providing guidance and assistance to administration staff across multiple facilities in the southeastern suburbs, including locations from Glen Iris up to the Mornington Peninsula and Tralalgon. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, staff rostering, HR documentation, admissions/discharges, and departmental operations. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role involves traveling to various sites to offer support. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA What you will bring Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills including experience liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Willing to travel around 40km radius around the southeast region across several mecwacare facilities to provide admin support. Demonstrated experience in managing the office environment in the Aged Care Sector and/or Residential Services setting Formal qualifications relevant to the administrative field (e.g. Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent) Management, Health, or related discipline. Demonstrated experience in Rostering, Leave and management. Ability to act as a mentor providing guidance to staff in relation to all aspects of administration, administration oversight and HR issues. Attention to detail, well developed prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Advanced administration skills including Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters. Current Victorian Driver's License. You will travel across mecwacare facilities within the Southeastern suburbs across Glen Iris up to the Mornington Peninsula and Tralalgon. Desirable: Previous experience working in, or an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the issues relating to services for older people.
