About the role:
Under guidance you will contribute to the output of biology and preclinical in vivo imaging projects.
You will also be required to design, plan and set up experiments, including troubleshooting scientific experiments, data acquisition, and analysis.
Duties will include:Development of animal models and in vivo and ex vivo measurement of radiopharmaceuticalsUndertake laboratory work and associated training that is required for conducting planned experimentsEnsure operational safety, quality control and compliance with applicable standards, legislation and regulationsWrite safety, regulatory and compliance documents (SWMES, work instructions, animal ethics, etc.)
and ensure accurate records are keptSkills & experience:Degree (MSc or higher preferred) in biological science, medical science, or radiation scienceDemonstrated experience in laboratory animal handling (rodents), anaesthesia, monitoring, injection, and surgical techniques related to in vivo imagingExperience working with preclinical in vivo imaging modalities, in vivo/ex vivo biodistribution studies, and therapeutic studies of pharmaceuticals or radiopharmaceuticalsDemonstrated ability to work productively within a team and as an independent researcherStrong communication and organisational skillsHow to Apply:
