Congresspartners with research institutions across Australia to conductresearch and evaluations that improve our understanding and servicedelivery in the health and well-being of Aboriginal people inCentral Australia. The Research team is within the Public HealthDivision and consists of the Research Manager, Senior Researchers,a Senior Evaluation Officer, Research Coordinators, ProjectCoordinators, Research Assistants and Evaluation Officers. Congress research team operates with flexibility, adjusting itssize and composition based on the needs of individual projects andavailable funding. This approach allows us to tailor our expertiseto each initiative, ensuring optimal outcomes for improving thehealth and well-being of Aboriginal people in CentralAustralia. About the roleThe Research Coordinator isresponsible for the overall coordination and implementation ofresearch project/s at Congress, including community and stakeholderconsultation and engagement. This role collaborates closely withexternal research organisations, community stakeholders, CongressSenior Research Manager and other Congress services, supervising ateam and staff across multiple areas, with trainingresponsibilities. The role may be required to liaise with otherorganisations outside Congress.
