Opportunity to join Westpac's vertical property teamManage a specialist property portfolioMelbourne CBD location, with working flexibilityHow will I help? The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of medium to large property connections with an average debt size of between $5M - $30M across both property investment and development, with a particular focus on winning new to bank customers. You'll act as a trusted advisor to drive sustainable business growth over time and source new clients through marketing initiatives by establishing and maintaining a quality referral network.
You'll work collaboratively with a network of specialists in areas such as wealth, financial markets, cash flow and transactional banking, as well as:
Initiating and facilitating outstanding interactions with existing and prospective customersMaintaining existing exposures and ongoing lending and credit requirementsFocus on winning new to bank customersMaximising opportunities to earn all of our customers' business, including lending, deposits, transactional banking solutions, investments and protectionDeveloping and growing deep industry expertise and referral networksWhat's in it for me? What do I need? We're looking for a seasoned relationship manager with ambition and a good energy! With a genuine interest in property and the ability to structure construction and investment transactions with confidence, you'll have a strong commercial lending background covering cashflow lending, credit analysis and deal structuring. A natural people-person, you'll boast an impressive track record in business development, including the acquisition of new to bank customers and a well-established network of referral sources.
