Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Emergency Department (ED) care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and be proficient in using ieMR (Integrated Electronic Medical Record).
About The Role: We have multiple contracts available across Hospital & Health services in QLD ranging from 4-12 weeks with potential to extend. Duties for this contract include:
Provide exceptional nursing care in the Emergency Department, handling a variety of urgent and critical cases. Utilize ieMR to accurately document patient information and manage medical records. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and streamlined operations. Perform assessments, administer treatments, and manage patient care in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate documentation and patient care. Key Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting. Proficient in using ieMR or similar electronic medical record systems. ALS, BLS, Resuscitation and Triage certificates. Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK). Manual and patient handling. Infection control. Aggressive behavior management. Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwives for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect. Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012. AHPRA Registration (must be current). National Police Check. Australian Immunisation History. Additionally, the candidate must agree to undertake any of the following as required by the HHS:
