The Opportunity We are seeking a visionary leader for the role of Pro Vice-Chancellor Research (PVCR) to lead the strategic development and enhancement of the University's research and innovation profile.
In this pivotal role, you will shape the University's research agenda, championing initiatives that elevate research quality, foster global partnerships, and enhance the University's reputation for impactful research.
Your leadership will be vital in ensuring that Western's research programs align with its broader academic mission, contributing to the University's global standing.
You will work closely with key stakeholders from across government, industry, and the community to build strategic partnerships that drive research innovation and create real-world impact.
Your role will involve fostering a collaborative research culture, enhancing the capabilities of the Graduate Research School, and promoting the commercialisation of our intellectual property.
With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you will ensure that WSU's research initiatives are future-focused and adaptable to the changing landscape of higher education.
Your strategic oversight will contribute to the University's success in international rankings, while also ensuring that all research is conducted with the utmost integrity.
